BRIDAL/BABY SHOWER LUNCHEONS


Adelle’s is open for dinner only Tuesday through Saturday but will open for afternoon shower luncheon banquets at 1:00 p.m. on Saturdays and earlier Sundays. If your Saturday party is very large or your event schedule demands a different start time, please inquire if we are able to accommodate an earlier opening time on that Saturday date.


There are no room charges or additional fees to open the restaurant in the afternoon for a shower luncheon banquet, but there is a 30 guest minimum guarantee for Saturday shower luncheons.

Adelle's is not open Sundays. We are happy to open the restaurant on a Sunday for your event, but there is a $2500 minimum guarantee spent for Sunday luncheons. If this minimum is not met, the difference is charged as "unmet minimum".

Adelle’s shower luncheon package is $29 per guest, plus 8% IL state tax and 22% banquet service charge (gratuity to the set-up, service and break-down staff). Additional soup or salad course can be added at the cost of $5 per guest.


The shower luncheon package includes a first course selection (same for all), an entrée selection (same for all), most unlimited non-alcoholic beverages, and cutting/serving/set-up of your brought-in cake/desserts/cupcakes/sweet table, etc. Of course, we are able to accommodate any pre-arranged guest’s reasonable special dietary request. Buffet, family-style or plated brunch-style menus can be arranged at different pricing than listed above.

Mimosas, wine, and/or cocktails are additional. Outside alcohol cannot be brought in and/or served.


Please understand, when booking the event, no deposit is required. But Adelle's considers it a verbal contract and that you have committed to holding your event at Adelle's. You are not still looking at other venues. In the event the banquet has to be cancelled, please notify as soon as possible so other inquires for your room are not turned away. After 120 hours (5 days) before event, we kindly ask for a $250 "late cancellation" payment for costs the restaurant has already expended. The food has been ordered and the event has been staffed. These are costs that would be hard for a restaurant to absorb without some compensation.


TIMELINE AFTER EVENT IS BOOKED...

  1. Menu selections and approximate RSVP guest count is due 2 weeks before event. This is when we will start discussing table set-up, room set-up, etc.

2. The final confirmed guest count is due 5 days before event and the final tabulated bill will reflect confirmed guest count, regardless of any last-minute cancellations or no-shows.

Decorating of the tables/room is encouraged, but nothing is permitted to be affixed/hung on the windows, walls, ceiling, window frames, light fixtures, etc. Hanging balloon displays, paper lanterns, etc may be hung if pre-arranged and application pre-discussed with Debbie.

No small confetti, paper sprinkles or plastic pieces are allowed on tables.

Your room will be available up to 1 hour before your function for decoration.


THE LEGALEASE...

Charges will be assessed for any additional clean up or damage. The booking guest agrees to be responsible for any damage caused by themselves, his or her guests, members, employees (event coordinators) or other agents under their control. Adelle's does not assume nor accept any responsibility for damage prior, during or following the function. Adelle's reserves the right to assign another room for the function in the event that the room originally designated for such function shall be inappropriate or unreasonable for the ultimate final confirmed guest count. Homemade cookies/desserts/cakes are allowed to be brought in for the event. But Adelle's does not assume nor accept any responsibility for any illnesses or food safety.
